We are thrilled to announce our successful grant application for Round 2 of the Australian Government’s Manufacturing Modernisation Fund.

As we look ahead to the future of our manufacturing capabilities, and with construction on our new Paget facility commenced, this $1 million in funding presents immense opportunities for our growth.

The Manufacturing Modernisation Fund supports Australian manufacturers by co-funding capital investments and associated reskilling to: adopt new technologies, encourage innovation, become more productive, increase competitiveness across local and international markets, and create more jobs.

With an exciting METS technology project in the works, Field Mining Services Group will be utilising the grant to boost investment in capital equipment to achieve strategic objectives and enable business expansion. We are excited for this project to keep moving forward with further announcements to come.

Most importantly, we see this grant as more than a win for our own business — here at FMS Group, a win for us is a win for our entire community. As we strive to further improve our process and operations to continuously deliver ‘the Best’ for our clients, this investment granted to us by the Australian Government filters down to the supply chain that supports our operation, our team and their families, and the local businesses in the Mackay Region that we value so much.
